After several years of selling and working with traditional ERP systems and realizing its limitations, the idea of using new web technology together with our experience with ERP systems to create a modern platform for administering and accounting trading operations was born.

Some important criteria that we set up were:

• Cloud solution instead of "On premise".

• Standardization of functionality.

• Simple and predictable rental cost.

• Limitless management of physical, digital and geographic data.

• Coordination of basic data.

• Open interface, API, to connect external systems seamlessly

The result was BeX® Online, which was launched in 2011 together with our own BeX® POS. Collaboration was established with a number of e-commerce partners to be able to offer a complete Omnichannel solution.

The target group was initially retail companies with digital ambitions to gradually expand with wholesale. The emphasis was primarily on offering companies an efficient solution for managing the flow of goods and customer value, which is critical for profitability and growth. Gradually, the goal was expanded to be able to offer a complete international business system for trading operations as a modern, future-proof and standardized cloud service.
